From the top of the tallest human-made monument in the United States and highest point in downtown St. Louis, you will experience unforgettable views of the city and the Mississippi River. Watch an award-winning documentary showing how the Gateway Arch was completed, from early concepts to the installation of its final section. Learn how every detail of Saarinen’s design played a part in successful construction of the awe-inspiring Gateway Arch. Next, board a replica 19th-century steamboat and explore the Mississippi, the planet’s fourth longest river, while taking in the Gateway Arch and the city’s skyline. All of this exploring will make you hungry, so enjoy lunch while cruising the Mississippi River! (Tip: don’t forget to visit the gift shop!)
